We have just launched a major update to our payments infrastructure, now supporting Strong Customer Authentication.

SCA is a fraud prevention directive requiring merchants in the European economic area to perform additional checks when processing payments online. From 14th September 2019, banks and card vendors will now require 3DSecure protection to be carried out for card payments.

Industry experts are estimating up to 76% of payments will start to fail after the deadline! Payhere is now fully compliant, so you don't have to worry about losing vital revenue.

Automatic compliance

Our payment forms are automatically upgraded for all customers starting today. If you would like to further avail of the benefits of 3D Secure 2, you may enable Stripe Radar rules on your account and force any card that supports the new standard to go through stronger authentication–this provides a major benefit, you are no longer liable for fraudulent charges or chargeback fees, this liability shifts to the card vendors.

Stripe verified

We are also now a Stripe verified partner which gives us a stronger relationship with Stripe and priority support, ensuring we can provide you with the best experience possible.

If you have any queries or think your current payment integration may be at risk, please reach out to us, we would be happy to help!
