We speak with Marg Tolliday of OETWorkshop, based in Melbourne Australia, to find out more about the business and how payhere has helped. We were able to help setup a recurring payment amount for one of the services offered (you can set the number of payments to take place within payhere), allowing the customer to spread the amount over 5 payments instead of one large payment.
Can you tell us a little about your business and what it does?
OETWorkshop was setup to provide an online service, namely, preparing aspiring candidates for a high-stakes English test - the O.E.T. (Occupational English Test). People who pass this English test are eligible for accreditation with AHPRA (Australian Health Professional Regulation Agency), to get Australian citizenship, qualify to get a health “Providers Number” so that their clients can claim health rebates from the Australian Department of Health.
What problem did you need solved?
I wanted to be able to offer a pay-in-installments arrangement on one of OETWorkshop’s products.
Why did you choose payhere to solve this problem?
Payhere is one of Stripe’s “third party” collaborators. Stripe itself does not offer developer (coding) help with one’s ecommerce platform. The Payhere website offered online chat - and easy instructions.
What benefits have you seen by using payhere?
It’s early days yet but I’m hoping higher priced items, which would really benefit people, will be more digestible if a part-payment-scheme is offered.
If you would like to find out more how we can do this for your business drop us an email, hello@payhere.co, or start a chat with us on our website via intercom.
